On a journey

You might remember the globe, I showed to you in the first week of January. It looked good, but I was rather unsatisfied with the way the units were put together. So I played around with it and found a much better way. Unfortunately this ment loosing the colourchange and so far I didn't get it back. I can get a colourchange, but then I'll loose the stars... while playing around with the model I also found out, that it's quite close to the model "space virus" by Xander Perrott, he uses a different, a third way of connecting the units.
What an interesting journey around one idea of folding paper!

make your own Dinsdale

Did you know, you can fold your own Dinsdale? There are diagrams in the German Convention book of 2018, in the BOS magazine no. 312 and recently added to the Origami pass by the origami shop (@nicolasterryorigami ).

Hallo 2020

Welcome to 2020! I hope you all had a good start into the new decade and you are ready for new Origami adventures.
After so many trees during the last weeks it is time again for something I designed myself. This is a globe made out of 30 squares and as I like it mostly made with 30 and 60 degree angles.
