Herbst - Autumn

Officially we have almost a month of Autumn left, but the beginning of the Christmas time next week marks the start of Winter anyhow. So before I will show you 24 thingies the upcoming days, I wanna use this post to present specifically these models that were made in Autumn.
The first model is already one year old, but I didn't find the time to write about it and later on there was not the right season...
There is a beautiful and quite easy leaf I love to fold during autumn time. The instruction can be found on a blog that usually is about Japanese food.
I changed the leaf a little bit so it could be attached to a sonobe unit. The final result is a globe full of colourful leafs.
In exchange with friends we noticed a certain similarity between those leafs and wings. From that point it was only a small step to the golden snitch, the most important ball in the game Quidditch.

This year it got a bit smaller, I wanted to find my way to fold a hedgehog. Basically this is nothing special, because there are hundreds of Origami hedgehogs out there. But as I like those cute animals and they are a typical symbol for Autumn to me, I wanted to give it a try. The basic technique is a corrugation, the rest slowly developed step by step. I call it Dinsdale...
